The Challenge

They had reached a stagnation point with one their Merchant Account lead generation campaigns on Google. It was key to their growth and the one they wanted focus on. It was the smaller of their two brands. They wanted it to match the profit performance of their leading brand but nothing they did could get it to come close.  The account was struggling to get volume and more importantly it wasn’t making any profit due to the high CPA cost.

The Solution

Firstly we audited and optimized the Google Ads account to make sure there was no wasted Ad spend. We then started an A/B testing process on the Ads. Finally, we went a stage further and analysed the whole account on a quality score level. We looked at every aspect. Everything in the funnel from the consumer and Ad, all the way down to their landing page and further. And we made one fundamental change to something nobody in the company has considered before.

The Results

After optimizing the account and running the A/B testing process for a few weeks we started to see a profit of around £1k a month instead of breaking even or losing money previously. The following month it hit £3k, and the client was incredibly happy with this as it was much better than they expected. But the result continued to improve and after with made one fundamental change to the account at the domain level, the client reached a profit level of £25k per month. This set a new standard for how they grew their lead generation marketing moving forward.
